THE STORY - LAUREN’S LEGACY

Lauren Walker was just 29 when she sadly passed away in 2023 following a long illness. Football had always been a huge part of her life, and she spent years travelling the country alongside her dad, Paul Gregory — better known as “Tango”, a larger-than-life figure recognised by football supporters across the world for his passionate support of Sheffield Wednesday and England.

Three years before Lauren passed away, she suffered a cardiac arrest and was successfully revived with the help of a defibrillator. It was a moment that changed everything for Paul. After losing Lauren, he was determined that her story would become something powerful, a legacy that could help protect other families and football communities.

That determination became the driving force behind Lauren’s Legacy and, ultimately, the #OneInEveryCorner campaign. Read more about Lauren's story and the #OneInEveryCorner campaign by clicking the button below.

The #OneInEveryCorner Mission

RED SKY PARTNERSHIP

Determined to turn Lauren’s story into a legacy that could save lives, Paul joined forces with Sergio Petrucci MBE and the team at Red Sky Foundation. Together, they launched #OneInEveryCorner with one ambitious mission: to place life-saving defibrillators around all 92 Premier League and EFL stadiums in England.

What started with Lauren’s story has grown into a nationwide mission to make football grounds safer for players, supporters, staff and communities — ensuring that when every second counts, a defibrillator is never too far away.

Step up for your club

We need clubs and supporters across the country to get behind One in Every Corner and help us take this campaign across all 92. Cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, anywhere, without warning. The next person who needs a defibrillator could be you, your mate standing beside you in the terrace, a family member, a steward or another supporter following the club they love. By backing the campaign, raising awareness, fundraising and encouraging your club to get involved, you can help make sure lifesaving equipment is there when somebody needs it most.
